A Brief Overview Of Ibiza’s Restaurants

Quite apart from hitting the clubs, tanning by the pool and heading off for vacation tours across the Island, there is little doubt you will want to take in the delights that Ibiza’s restaurants have to offer.

No matter what you fancy eating; be it traditional Spanish Paella or a hot and steamy Italian Lasagna, pretty much any type of cuisine can be found with not too draining a search. Of course, if you really want the full Ibizan experience; why not try some of the local fare - which can be stunning?

Because of the island’s popularity across Europe, it is also possible to taste the cuisine from countries you may not immediately aware of; Germany and Holland for example. Why not take the time to try something a little different whilst in Ibiza?

The food is generally of an excellent quality, no matter where you choose to eat. However, what is also excellent with all of Ibiza’s restaurants is the price. Whilst recent changes have seen exchange rates slide, this is still true today where selecting the “menu del dia” at lunch, will give you three courses, wine for about ten to fifteen Euros.

There will of course be restaurants attached to the hotel or resort you are staying in, and these can be good too. However, for the real experience, seek out those along the marinas and into the countryside.

Ibiza’s restaurants add so much more to your vacation than somewhere to eat but, if heading out in the summer, do be careful. More and more, lower quality, restaurants open up, and there are of course the global fast food chains. But steer away from these if you can, and follow where the local residents go the real Ibizan experience.
