We are paying more and more money now for driving tuition. Choosing the correct instructor has never been so important with such a variation in prices how do we now what school to decide on when picking the right instructor for you
A driving instructor should be able to install confidence in your driving, building a rapour with your driving instructor is important. If a close family member passed with a certain instructor try him/her out recommendations are the best way to find a good driving instructor.
With so much choice it can be a difficult decision to make when choosing the right school for you. You have the small independents the localised schools or the nationalised schools. To make the decision a liitle clearer here is some info on each of them.
Trust and the brand name go hand in hand with the larger multi national schools. They can offer reductions in driving insurance and other driving related products when you have passed your test, unfortunatlly this comes at a price national companies charge a premium for this service and it can be expensive.
As with the larger national schools the local driving schools will not be cheap. They will offer the knowledge and expertise of being localised to that specific area. Thier instructors will be supervised just like the nationals so you can expect a suitable degree of learning from thier instructors.
The cheapest option but not always nescessaily the best one is the independent driving instructors in your local area. The indepedents will not usually be able to offer any kind of promotional incentives to take lessons from them just the fact that they are cheaper. Although bear in mind that most independent instructors did work for the nationals or locals at some time and decided to go out on thier own.
So advantages and disadvantages for all types of driving instructors. You may well have the extra cash to go with the big school but paying more might not necessarily get you the beter instructor. My advice would be to try a few different instructors to see which style of teaching you prefer.
Your first step to independence will be gaining your driving licence. Therefore choosing the right driving instructor for you can be the most important decision. Asking the right questions can help like which vehicle they usa or thier pass rates to name a few.
Most of all if you feel the chemistry is not thier in the lessons or you are not enjoying your lessons try another instuctor. Dont leave it for another 10 lessons before deciding to change this can be costly.
