Starting an online business will require many of the same disciplines and skills that you would employ if starting an offline business. You will need to sell something to generate revenue and profit and this can be a product or service so no surprises there then. The product that you can sell can be broken down into 2 categories-physical products or electronic/down loadable.
The way those products are grouped are up to you if you want to change it into your own products or somebody else s. If you are promoting someone else s then you are an affiliate marketer and you make your money from promoting other people’s products and they will pay you because of the people you bring to them that turn into sales.
Services can also be sold on the internet in your online business and the service that you will be able to provide can be wide ranging depending on your skills and experience. Another source of revenue that you may wish to base your business model around is the sale of advertising on your website or blog. Google and Yahoo and indeed many other online giants provide advertising programs which involves them placing in context advertisements on your website or blog once you have signed up to their program.
So , Your business online will consist of products and services just like offline businesses. But lets not forget that you have to learn a little bit of internet marketing secrets and tools that will make you dominate and make serious money online.
