5 Ways to Avoid Working Out Your Abs For the Rest of Your Life.
Posted by Brian Brown | Filed under Health & Fitness
Who needs ab workouts anyway? Rather than slaving away with real exercise, why not check out these wonderfully creative, not-at-all insane ways to get those abs you want? Seriously!
#5 Great Abs Are Out of Style.
Things have changed — now it’s all about beer bellies! No one really cares so much about great abs anymore. All the big trendsetters when it comes to what’s hot and what’s in are saying it loud and clear — flab is fab, lean is not.
#4 Your Body Will Conveniently Hide Fat For You.
Yeah, fine, we gain some fat — but who has ever heard of anyone’s body ‘placing’ that fat in an unfortunate place? I know we just chatted about those pot bellies above, but really, it’s not a big deal, because our bodies figure it all out and send the fat to places that never really see the light of day. So just eat away and don’t really worry, you’ll be fine!
#3 Beaches? What Beaches?
I know people talk about ‘beach bodies’ and getting in shape for the summer and all that, but really, come on. Who even bothers with the beach tomorrow. I think that if you take my word and just drive by any random beach this summer, you’ll find that it is very much empty, not full of anyone with a toned body or a sculpted physique.
#2 Buy One Of Those Electrode-Based Machines.
Wondering why you see all those ads for those weird, pulsating ab workout machines that attach to your stomach? It’s easy! They just really, really work! Seriously, there’s no issue at all with them being inconvenient, fake, or prone to breaking down. Nope, you just attach a bunch of awkward electrodes to your flab and blast it away, we swear!
#1 You Can Probably Just Take A Few Pills.
Load yourself up with pills, you say? Hey, why not? Sure, they might just be sugar pills that will trick you into a placebo effect, or they could have serious negative side effects on your body. But how will you know if you don’t try, right? Why not be a guinea pig for a dubious industry? Forget those ab workouts!
If, for whatever reason, you’re still stuck in the dark ages and actually want to do a great abs workout to get a lean, toned body the “old fashioned” way, Zuzana’s workout videos at Bodyrock.TV will take you through it in the best way possible.

Losing Weight And The New You!
Posted by Casey Wigwire | Filed under Health & Fitness
You wake up each morning and you want to eat right. You prepare a nutritious breakfast and you are off to a great start. So many people pass on breakfast and then they have issues and wonder why. Not you. You know better. Never skip meals to lose weight, in fact do quite the opposite. Add more meals to your diet and eat lighter. Your body stays in working condition with the energy it needs to do so. Your blood sugar needs to be at a certain level and your calories need to be in check as well. Efficient eating can do that for you, along with a few more obvious tips.
Since you were very little fruits and vegetables were a must. You would fight your parents because the taste was not very appealing. Now those two things can help you in your fight to lose weight. They are light in total but filling to your stomach, a great way to eat a lighter meal. They also have many required vitamins, antioxidants, fiber and minerals your body desperately needs.
The best advice to healthy eating is to avoid food that is flat out bad for you. That means no more fast food places and that of which is processed. Those two things are the best ways to gain fat and gain it fast. Why not eat fresh all the time, or whenever you can. No reason to put back in what you are fighting to take out.
If you are going to make a full switch to a healthy diet of course sugar is an enemy as well. Ease it out of your coffee and stay away from soft drinks and chocolate bars. Too much sugar will make you feel sluggish and offset all the good that you are doing. Remember the body has a best friend and that best friend is water, not sugar. Get your six to eight glasses in each day and you will be just fine.
What about salt? You must have heard that salt is not the best for you either. Watch this like a hawk. Find another way to get the spice kick you need with basil, rosemary, ginger, pepper, nutmeg and/or garlic, to name but some. Watch the stomach line shrink and keep the cardiovascular system working efficiently to boot. Keep your eye off that salt shaker.
You know what to avoid. You know how many meals to have. Now you must show self control when consuming food at home and away. Remember the meals must be light. Avoid seconds and thirds. Take food home in a container if you must. Know your limit. Know when you are full and know when you are pushing it beyond. You will kill your energy and strain the body with an over load. Don’t do it and you will not quit the healthy way of eating that you have started.
Of course the food will not push the body like it is suppose to without exercise of some form. Make the body work and you will get results. Find an activity that involves moving. Find a sport, take a walk, run, swim or find a machine, anything to get the blood moving. You don’t put gas in your car to just sit in the garage. You need to drive it, same thing with your body. Hit the gas whenever you can. All of this will help you lose weight and help you keep it off. That is the objective.
Getting a Jump on losing weight sometimes requires you to use a supplement for a short period of time. I have researched the best of the best and found that this is The Best Acai Supplement and this is The Best Colon Cleanse to use. You only use both for a few months and it makes a world of difference in how much you lose at the start of any diet. Try them both - your going to Amazed at the results!

5 Powerful Ways to Melt Away That Unwanted Fat
Posted by Franklin deMendoca | Filed under Health & Fitness
Struggling to find a weight reduction idea? What about 5 effortless hints instead? Here’s five easy fat loss tips that won’t break the bank, but will leave you thinner and sexier with very little effort.
Fat Loss Tip #1: Here’s a great one that will not cost you a cent: drink cold water. Drinking ice water chills the body, kicking up your metabolism that will make you stay warm. Plus, staying sufficiently hydrated will help control your appetite.
Fat Loss Tip #2: Eat greens with every meal. Yes, even breakfast. Make a fantastic omelet with a whole egg plus an egg white, and chopped tomatoes, onions, mushroom and peppers for a reduced-fat, delicious meal that’ll maintain your blood sugar at ideal level for hours.
It’s uncomplicated to get some fruit and vegetables at lunch break. Simply add lettuce and tomato to your sandwich, or make a delectable salad with a source of lean protein such as turkey, chicken or fish.
Supper? Anything your soul desires. Separate your trusty dinner plate into quarters: Half the space needs to be packed with veggies, One fourth starches and the remaining one fourth with lean protein.
Fat Loss Tip #3: A hamburger with lettuce and tomato is a superior fast food alternative to chicken or fish if they are battered and deep-fried in oil. Either way, skip the fries. Many junk food outfits currently have side salads, which often are a considerably lower calorie alternative than fries that are calorie-dense, but deliver little in term of nutrients.
Fat Loss Tip #4: Ditch the soft drink. If you make just one modification to your eating habits, start replacing coke with water. A usual 20 oz. coke consists of perhaps 320 calories, but offers no nutrients in exchange.
If you are in the habit of enjoying a number of these per day, the kilos may pile on rapidly. A good way to execute the change is to water down 100% pure fruit juice 50% with water, then steadily increase the proportion of water to juice.
Fat Loss Tip #5: Make everyday activities a little bit more of a chore on yourself. Drop your car in the next block at the local retailer. Take the stairway as opposed to the elevator. Walk for at least ten minutes immediately after each and every meal. It is not that painful to get in additional daily activity. To provide an example, when you are watching TV, get up and walk in place or do sit-ups each time the commercials come on.

How To Use Dairy Produce: Part 4 - Eggs (cont).
Posted by Owen Jones | Filed under Food & Beverage
Preparation Of Basic Foods: Dairy Produce.
Eggs: Part II
Poaching: boil 1.5 inches (40mm) water in a shallow pan; add 5 g of salt and a teaspoon of vinegar. Crack an egg into a cup, check and pour into boiling water. Turn down the heat. Fold the white around the unbroken yolk with a spoon and continue to simmer for another 3-4 mins. Lift out with a draining spoon and serve on warm buttered toast.
Scrambling: beat the eggs well; add salt, pepper to taste and a dash of milk. Melt enough butter to cover the bottom of a shallow pan. Fry the eggs slowly, stirring continuously. Cook in a basin floating on boiling water, if preferred. Dish up when nearly completely set, after about 5 minutes.
Fried Eggs: Melt enough butter to easily cover the bottom of a frying pan. Tip the egg(s) in gently and gather the whites around the yolks. When the white has solidified, baste the yolk to your preference and remove whole with a fish slice.
Baked Eggs: lightly grease a fireproof dish and slide the egg(s) gently into it. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and butter to taste. Bake in a medium oven and serve in the same pan after the whites have set to your liking.
Omelettes: buy a pan and keep it only for omelettes! The base should be smooth and clean. Allow two eggs per person; whip lightly and add salt and pepper to taste. Heat enough butter to cover the base of a shallow pan. When the butter is fairly hot, pour in the beaten eggs; as it sets, raise the handle and draw the set mixture up towards the handle, allowing the liquid egg to run down onto the hot pan. When all the liquid has set, tilt the pan forward and roll the omelette up. Serve immediately on a hot plate. The omelette can be filled with almost anything, before being rolled over.
Pouring Custard: lightly beat 2-3 eggs for every pint of milk. Heat the milk and gradually add to the eggs; add sugar and flavouring to suit your taste; heat in a double pan or jug and hot water until the required consistency has been achieved. If it is not to be served up immediately, pour a thin layer of water onto it’s surface to stop a skin forming on top.
Baked Custard: proceed as above and then transfer the custard into a greased dish; sprinkle lightly with nutmeg and place dish in water to halfway up its sides. Bake at 350 F for 35-45 mins; test its solidity by inserting a knife - it should be clean on removal.
Steamed Custard: as above, but cook in a steamer or pan of boiling water. The cooking time is about the same too.
Custard Tarts: pour pouring custard into unbaked pastry cases and bake in the oven for 40-50 mins. A little jam can be placed in the bottom of the case first, if desired.

Don’t Risk Your Life With These 3 Weight Loss Myths
Posted by Andrew Walchester | Filed under Health & Fitness
You’ve probably encountered a huge variety of weight loss tips if you’ve ever picked up any kind of health magazine. You will find that several of the tips will be beneficial and others will not. The ineffective weight loss techniques usually involve fad dieting, pills, and weight loss supplements. As always, it’s the simpleness of diet and exercise advice that really work for people.
The weight loss industry often offers misleading information or just plain myths, and other people will tweak the truths because they are ignorant or it’s to their advantage to do so. I would like to talk about three of these myths.
Myth #1 : Reducing fat in specific spots is possible. This isn’t true at all, and I’m certain that any and every expert on weight loss would agree. It’s impossible to make your body eliminate fat in any one specific spot, regardless of which workouts you add to your regimen. Trying to exercising with crunches and leg lifts to aim at reduction of belly fat, you’ll find that you will reduce muscle mass beneath your abdomen instead of the belly fat you were hoping would disappear forever. Because of this, you need to concentrate on a general healthy diet that can increase your rate of metabolism, and burn fat more quickly - not just on leg lifts and crunches.
Myth#2: Dramatically reducing your daily calorie intake will diminish your body fat: False. Many people have found themselves on the edge of crash dieting by subscribing to this myth. Out of desperation, a person crash dieting to shed excess weight, eventually finds that they are damaging their bodies instead. Know that starving and fasting tends to make your body think you’re trying to kill it and therefore it goes immediately into a starvation mode to save itself. As your body is in starvation mode, your metabolism will slow down, and it will start to burn your muscles for energy instead of burning your excess fat, as usual. So now, not only are you not achieving the desired result of losing fat, but you are undermining your health by putting your body’s muscle in jeopardy. When you’re finally off your crash diet, you’ll gain even more weight than before.
Myth #3 : You can lose weight by doing cardio exercises alone. Cardio exercises are definitely an excellent way to fast weight loss, but it’s false that only cardio is capable of shedding extra weight. Aerobics are also excellent for this. The advantages of these two types of exercise are very similar. For another healthy alternative, try weightlifting. You get the fat burning benefits of aerobics and cardio, with the added bonus of continued fat burning even after your workout has ended! The best way to lose extra fat is to combine weight lifting and cardio into your regimen.
My goal for this article is that it gives you the real truths about weight loss.

A Tale That Spans Centuries - The Acai Berry
Posted by Steve Comet | Filed under Health & Fitness
The Acai berry (pronounced Ah-Saa-Ee) has taken the health world by storm in recent times. This small, rounded, dull looking purple-black fruit, a miniscule twenty-five millimetres in diameter was originally discovered in the nigh on impenetrable depths of the Amazon Rainforest by foolhardy Conquistadors many years ago. These men were driven by whispers that pulsated out of the jungle, telling of a berry with magical qualities.
They encountered a proud and strong tribe named the Coloco who thrived upon the fruit. The Spanish explorers were surprised by the tribe’s healthy mien and jovial disposition. They seemed fiercely resistant to all but the most ravenous of diseases and had managed to endure the abominable conditions in which they lived since time immemorial
Modern Anthropological studies show that the Acai berry, a fruit that grows on panicles of seven hundred to nine hundred fruit, constituted for roughly 42% of the indigenous people’s diet. The magical qualities that first drove the Spanish to cleave through the enmeshing undergrowth of the Amazon rainforest is now understood by modern science to strengthen the immune system and increase the elasticity of the skin which basically slows the aging process.
The Acai berry diet is an all round health solution the likes of which has not been seen before; the Acai berry in its unadulterated form, as can be purchase at the acai berry related website, may not be a ‘miraculous’ fruit but it is certainly capable of some pretty extraordinary things.
