An Xbox 360 console
Two Xbox 360 hard drives
Data transfer cable (included with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit)

Data transfer software (included with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit)
The Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit transfers all content to another hard drive. Read the users guide which you get with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit.
You can transfer all content from one Xbox 360 hard drive (this is called the “source”) to another Xbox 360 hard drive (this is called the “destination”). The data from the source hard drive overwrites the content on the destination hard drive.
Naturally content is only able to be moved to another hard drive so long as the destination hard drive is the same size or bigger than the source hard drive
When the transfer is complete, the content on the destination hard drive is going to be replaced with the content from the source hard drive. This data includes your saved games and Xbox LIVE downloads. After the transfer is finished, the content on the source hard disk is erased.
Film rentals
Movies you have rented on the source hard drive will not be available after the transfer. Make sure that you watch all Xbox LIVE Marketplace movie rentals prior to using the Hard Drive Transfer Kit.
Using the Hard Drive Transfer Kit
Warning with any transfer, there is a small risk that some or all your content might be lost during the transfer.
Only one hard drive can be connected to your Xbox 360 console at a time. The transfer cable cannot be used to connect multiple hard drives to your console at the same time.
To transfer all content from one hard drive to another
Turn off your Xbox 360 console with your current hard drive (the “source” drive) attached.
Disconnect all accessories from the console.
Switch on the console. Connect a controller and switch it on. You will have to use a controller during the content transfer.
Connect the transfer cable to the hard drive that you are moving content to (the “destination” hard drive).
Important The transfer cable connects to the destination hard drive in only one orientation. Do not force the connector on.
Connect the transfer cable to the destination hard drive in the orientation shown below.
Plug the other end of the transfer cable into the USB port on the back of your Xbox 360 console.
Important Do not plug the transfer cable into a USB port on the front of your Xbox 360 console.
Load the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Disc (included with the transfer kit) into your Xbox 360 console. Instructions will appear on the screen
The transfer process can take more than 60 minutes, depending on the amount of content on the source hard drive.
The Xbox Dashboard is not available during the content transfer.
If the transfer is interrupted for any reason, your data will stay on the source hard drive. You can restart the transfer process at any time until the transfer is finished.
To remove your Xbox 360 hard drive
1.Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
2.Locate the hard drive on the top of your console (or on the left side, according to how your console is positioned).
3.Press the release button on the hard drive.
4.Lift the hard drive away from the console.
To attach your hard drive
1.Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
2.Position the back of the hard drive against the back of the hard drive bay.
3.Push the front end of the hard drive down until it clicks in place.
Note If your console did not previously have a hard drive, you will need to remove the hard drive bay cover before attaching a hard drive.

We all know the sound, when the computer reads the hard drive every morning on startup and we have to wait several minutes until it’s ready for our input. It’s not only the annoying sound of the magnetic head reading data which stresses our nerves. It’s simply the couple of minutes we are forced to wait until we can start working which is frustrating. But there’s a new technology which becomes more and more attractive and which promises a good solution to this daily situation: Solid State Drives (SSDs).
The most known fact about SSDs is that they are much faster than regular hard drives. But this isn’t true in all situations. SSDs are faster while reading data, but they are slower while writing. This means that the boot process, which means reading all data for the operating system into RAM becomes a charm and your computer will be ready shortly after you’ve pressed the power on button. But when you’re doing write intensive tasks, like video editing work won’t become a pleasure with a SSD. Ok, you’ve thought about it and want a SSD - what should you do now?
The first thing to do is to identify your hard drive controller. You can do this by calling the systems device manager. What you need to benefit from a fast SSD is a Serial ATA interface. If your computer has an older interface like IDE or a parallel one it’s not worth to switch. The controller will become the bottleneck.
The next thing is to get the drive size. Desktop computer usually have a 3.5″ drive, notebooks a 2.5″ or 1.8″ drive build in. The change itself is simple. Just connect the new SSD as you would connect a regular hard drive. After installation you may need to go into your BIOS and run the hardware identification.
Regular hard drives are still much cheaper than SSDs. You get bigger ones for less money. So sit down and think a minute if the benefits of fast reading and lower battery usage overcome the cons of a high initial price and lower write rates.

The Significant Presence In The Video Technology

LCD uses liquid crystals one for every pixel. The light goes through them on its way to the lenses and it in modulated by the liquid crystals that it is traversing. It is a transitive technology. The DLP uses microscopic mirrors, one for every pixel reflecting the light. This is a modulating technology and it is reflexive.
LCOS is a combination from these two technologies. Mainly it is a reflexive technology using liquid crystals instead of individual mirrors. At LCOS, the liquid crystals are applied on a reflexive, mirror like, type layer. As the crystals open and close the light is reflected but not towards the mirror they are applied on. This is how the image is created. The LCOS projectors are using mainly 3 chips one for the modulation of the light on the channels red, green and blue. Similar to LCD, LCOS projects the red, green and blue components simultaneously. The rotating disc from DLP technology is absent.
The LCOS technology has a very high resolution and naturally is more expensive than the majority of LCD or DLP products. There are no SVGA resolutions at LCOS projectors and seldom XGA equipments. Generally the LCOS projectors come with SXGA (1365x 1024) technologies or higher and that is why, by definition, they are not cheap.
So, due to the high resolution and the large dimension, the LCOS technology was not adapted for the slender, portable video projectors. The LCD and DLP projectors are presently selling in large quantities and are the best sold options for mobile, educational and Home Theater usage; this is the reason for which they are enjoying a higher attention. Because LCOS is not sold in similar quantities many people believe it is not that good. This is not correct at all.
