Gay Trip Packages To Ireland
Posted by Howie Holben | Filed under Travel
Ireland has been good for gay vacations at least since the time of Oscar Wilde, although in those days it was not necessarily a friendly country for the LGBT community. Like Wilde, many people were jailed or sent away for hard labor for what was legally termed “indecency” and, until 1861, acts of sodomy were even punishable by death, but Ireland has come a long way since these dark days, decriminalizing same-sex sexual behavior in 1993 and legalizing civil unions in 2009.
While these significant legal strides might not mean that every village - or even every larger city - is ready to fully embrace same-sex relationships, Ireland has become a rather welcoming country for the most part and is a wonderful choice for gay travel. Many larger cities, such as Galway, Dublin, Cork and Waterford, have active, visible communities, LGBT-owned and LGBT-friendly establishments, and enough attractions and activities to fill an entire trip; however, whether you travel to Ireland solo or with organized gay tours, you will not want to miss the beautiful Irish countryside or the quaint, small villages that are scattered about the landscape or overlooking awe-inspiring coastal cliffs.
There are now many Irish cities that have LGBT organizations, popular hangouts, annual celebrations and a thriving community, but Dublin remains the unquestionable center of Irish LGBT life, making it an absolute must-see during gay travel to Ireland. The nightlife in Dublin is an interesting blend of upscale clubs with dress codes and a casual LGBT pub scene, which allows those on gay vacations to Ireland to experience different aspects of LGBT life in Dublin. Depending on when you arrive, you may also have the opportunity to take part in one of Dublin’s annual community events, including the Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Festival in July, Dublin International LGBTQ Pride in June, and the popular Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, which takes place each May.
There is always something going on in Dublin, on either a small or large scale, so it is a good idea to pick up a copy of GNC, Ireland’s main community magazine, when you arrive in town. There are many must-see attractions when partaking in gay travel in Dublin, including the Guinness Storehouse, the Old Jameson Distillery, the Hugh Lane Gallery, the Book of Kells, the Oscar Wilde House Museum and Dublin’s quintessential LGBT bar, The George.
Folks planning gay tours should consider partaking in group gay tours to ensure that they do not miss out on the plethora of historical, cultural and natural attractions that this intriguing, romantic nation has to offer.

Under the Thumb Of Wicked Business owners
Posted by Scott Buendia | Filed under Self Improvement
I’m sitting here with a sick princess and its 7:11 a.m. and I should be working. I’m thinking of how insane all this is. We weren’t put on earth for someone else and not be with our family when they are sick, but here I am. Punching a clock, and supposively, we’re supposed to take pleasure in it.
Work wants us to believe that what we should really care about is our family members, yet they terminate us if we take care of them for too long. I can think of a quote that I think is true in this case, “to find out who really owns your house, just stop paying your goverment tax bill.” In this case, to find out who really owns your life, just stop going to work. Your pockets will be empty real fast.
Something that has buzzed around my mind a lot lately is that depending on one source of income is ridiculous. You should have many so that the loss of one can be offset by the many. No enterprise (without good marketing, and I’m not talking about the marketing they teach us in school, please no brand advertising) can survive unless its head is screwed on straight.
Maybe I’m too much of an S type owner (No joke there, I really am, if you don’t know what this is, then pick up a copy of Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad). Maybe, I’m just tenacious, and I like flexibility, but I just don’t think this is how we’re supposed to live. Under the thumb of someone else who is under the thumb of a another guy, who lives under the thumb of a trust fund baby who goes to Fiji 355 days a year out of 365 and only comes in to to yell at people to make himself feel like he’s working.
(If you want that promotion that badly, that’s usually all you have to do, as long as you haven’t doing something tremendously stupid by doing all your work| you’re supposed to do fast and efficiently, leaving you with nothing to do, because they “want” you to stay at work 9 to 5 because that’s exactly how the “business” works.)
Call me insane, but that does not sound like a real life.

Turning Fiasco Into Benefit
Posted by Masami Sato | Filed under Self Improvement
What we should do when things go bad.
When the financial market is unstable worldwide, the first reaction of most people is to hold on to what they have and also cut costs. They also presume that practically everyone is doing the same thing, as that is the impression that newspapers create.
Everyone ISN`T acting that way of course. In fact, some people and some businesses thrive no matter where the economy is going. And when you look for why that is, you find that the answer often lies in a simple place where most people have never even looked. Let’s explore together.
When a ‘down’ current comes, no matter what it is, the most effective solution is to rise above it. When we go with the down current we sink with the tide and have to wait, suffocating, until the tide changes.
The fact is that when we know our strength and can hold sway over ourselves, we can rise above the mundane and not worry about what is going on all around. Let us visualise it properly.
‘Go-getters’ or ‘Go-providers’
Consider a situation where we want much more - fatter profit, a salary boost, lengthier holidays, better freedom, and better prospects.
When we yearn for a thing, our response is to try to get it. By that yardstick everybody is a ‘Go-getter’. And a ‘go-getter’ is understood as a dynamic, enterprising person with leadership qualities. Such an attitude is a prime requirement for succeeding in life as we understand it. Nevertheless, there is an innate conundrum. When these approaches are put into practice, there are certain unanticipated, though unavoidable upshots.
Because after ‘getting’ and ‘having’ it what tends to follow is ‘losing’ it. We either lose it physically or we lose interest in what it was we got.
Then our interest swings to something else. This continuous swaying of interest is the biggest issue; the widening interests becoming a never-ending circle of desires so that we are never satisfied with what we have. It becomes a sort of junk food dependency!
So what if we turned our ‘desire to get’ into a desire to provide?
Most of you are aware that the act of providing gives a sense of fulfillment. This ensues from gratefulness and not from panic or avarice. A person can go on providing more and receive more and know full satisfaction in the voyage of life.
Our abundant and providing attitude creates abundant and providing clients and team mates while our cost awareness and ‘getting approach’ would draw towards us only similar clients and team mates. And those are the type of people we would not like to be friends with!
Inspiring capitalism
Most ventures are today aware of the inspiring role of capitalism. They are ever ready to contribute more through many avenues. The idea has strongly impacted the business world as they realise how giving is central to business interests. A typical example is Bill Gates, who expounded the philosophy of ‘Creative Capitalism’ in July 2008 in a TIME magazine article.
He said: “Doing good might be the tipping point that leads people to choose one product over another.”
The gist of what Bill Gates is saying is that when an enterprise is associated with the idea of providing in any manner, that enterprise and its products become more appealing to clients. It carves out a niche for itself far above that of others.
Creative Capitalism is about rising above what we reluctantly settle for to reach what we truly aspire to. When we can capitalise on our ideas and imagination in a way that benefits and nurtures the wider community and network; we stop wasting our resources, efforts and talents in trying to temporarily win. We start creating the real win for ourselves and for the sustainability of our global economy.
The attraction of effective giving
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the phrase that’s often used to describe giving back at a corporate level. It’s becoming almost a required part of corporate business practice. Yet when it’s done out of a sense of obligation or with the intent to just make ourselves look good, people eventually get what it is. It still is a temporary strategy.
Individuals and enterprises that ‘contribute’, appeal to everyone. Their fervour and conviction about what they do are acknowledged by the people with whom they build up relationships. This acknowledgement is in addition to the official public relations campaign of the establishment.
What is likely to be the upshot if some of the capital meant for marketing is apportioned for contributions?
Giving gives rise to something greater than what we actually are. It has the power to inspire. And true inspiration is possible only when it echoes on the people whom we want to enthuse. And we are enthused only when we put our heart and soul into the procedure. It is simply not sufficient to listen to the interesting tales. One has to become part and parcel of the whole process. Everyone has this inclination to make one’s own input - to one’s immediate relatives, friends, and to the society at large.
Transaction-based giving makes it inevitable
A far better atmosphere for donating has become possible because of an idea (or we can call it a ‘phenomenon’) by the name Buy1GIVE1 (Buy One Give One). Buy1GIVE1 is the abode of transaction-based giving. Transaction-based giving overhauls everything. Let us put to use our resourcefulness and decide why.
How would you like the scenario whereby every time you have a coke at a nearby eatery, a needy child in Africa gets clean water at least for a single day?
Or a different scenario where with every subscription to a journal that you would like to read, a sapling gets planted somewhere where it was badly needed? Or whenever you ate out, someone routinely got fed out of its profit?
Or let’s say you’re being coached in your business. How interesting would it be to know that a child was educated for one month as a direct result (and by the way, all it cost the coaching company to do that was 60 cents per day).
Where a motivational speaker at a conference is connected with a charity, part of his income might go to helping kids who have speech problems due to facial defects. It will be a matter of great satisfaction for the participants at the conference to know that their very participation is helping a deserving cause.
Imagine the perfect scenario where transaction-based giving can be applied in one’s own special manner to correspond with the available products and services to include every member of the group and customers. It is possible.
The real win-win economy
Already, companies right around the world are ‘getting’ the power of this transaction-based giving. Just one example-the UK’s leading supermarket chain, TESCO now gives a school uniform to a child in Kenya whenever a customer buys a pair of school trousers.
The Mineral Water Company known as Volvic is one that has followed swiftly in this transaction-based giving program. They connect their water selling to well digging in Africa and call it Buy1 GIVE 10, because when one litre of water is sold, the money that comes from it helps in making a 10 litres flow in the well that is being dug.
Small to medium sized companies are now starting to take leadership in expanding this global giving movement through Creative Capitalism. Buy1GIVE1 (www.b1g1.com), a Singapore-based Social Enterprise came up with a mechanism that has turned this transaction-based giving into something every one of us can be involved in.
Buy1GIVE1 is the abode of the most powerful transaction-based giving in the world because it ties up any enterprise of any size to any worthy cause in the world. It is creating an international community of entrepreneurial givers and for SME`s, Buy1GIVE1 correlates enterprises, their buyers AND causes in an unsurpassable way. The system has been so perfected that it is automated.
You can become a citizen of this global giving movement by simply getting a Buy1GIVE1 `VISA` directly off the Buy1GIVE1 site at www.b1g1.com. And if you own a business you can become a B1G1 Business through a simple online application and select your cause for your main product or service to kick-start you’re giving. Buy1GIVE1 forwards 100% of the contributions to their international Worthy Cause Partners (there are now over 528 projects you can select) making the giving even more effective.
Have you considered?
* Half the world-nearly three billion people-live on less than two dollars a day.
* Even when the new millennium dawned there were still almost a billion people who were illiterate.
* According to UNICEF, 30,000 children die each day due to poverty. That is about 210,000 children each week, or 20 children every minute.
* 85% of the world’s water resources are utilized by just 12% of its population. And of this, even 1% does not live in the Third World.
* One billion people lack access to basic health care.
* Rainforests of about 63,000 sq. miles get destroyed every year.

Unearthing what we are looking for-Nature’s eternal secret
So let’s let us return to the starting point-turbulent economics and managing to get what we need. The needs are in fact not all that knotty. They are just a group of three words that begin with the letter S - strong bonds, solidarity and society.
When we can team up rather than break up and thus create a perfect way to combine resources rather than carry away from one another, we will perceive that there is so much more profusion and so many reserves present on the planet. And when we build relationships, not just with one another but with our innate selves, we understand something infinitely beautiful-that we’re all ONE. Then we realise how simple it is to form an international society from something as commonplace as giving.
The secret was always alive in nature
In the wild, all types of insects cross-fertilize plants to create fruits and flowers of endless varieties benefitting men and animals alike. The perfect give and take pattern was there even before civilizations started.
Failures are said to be stepping stones to success. In the same way we can turn setbacks into advantages. In reality we should be thankful for the current situation that is helping us to move ahead.
And when a person chooses to donate now itself, in spite of the financial crisis, he will feel more contended. And with this contentment he will find a hope that is rekindled anew, which will ring a bell on how the ebb and flow of things can change. Today’s charity might be that which will reverse the flow.

Conscious Gay Holidays
Posted by Howie Holben | Filed under Self Improvement
Vacations are something that everyone takes in order to get themselves out of the hustle and bustle of the real world for a little bit of relaxation and rejuvenation. This time away is very important to both our physical and mental health. There are many different types of vacations that one can take in order to fill these needs.
You could take a vacation with just your immediate family or you could do typical group tours. But, you can also venture out into the world of vacationing with a group of people that have faced similar life challenges. For gay people, gay spirituality travel is a great option.
Being gay, we all have at least one thing in common. Vacationing with others that have had similar experiences in life can add to our time away. This commonality helps to form bonds within the group.
New acquaintances become fast friends and people with whom we find we can share things. This helps to make gay vacations a unique and wonderful experience. We know we are understood by those around us, at least on some level.
Being understood allows us to open up, relax more and let our guard down. This vulnerability lets more of the vacation into our hearts and minds. The more we feel the vacation, the more we recover from the strains of life at home.
A vacation with men and women that also share our intentions for the vacation deepens our sense of recovery. Spiritually connecting to the world around us and to ourselves is one shared intention. Now we share two important things, being gay and a desire to grow spiritually.
Gay vacations that include an exploration of the world and also an exploration of ourselves, can be very powerful. With the support of the others in the group we are able to let our walls down even further and live a freer life. And that’s why we took a vacation in the first place, to be freer of life’s responsibilities.
Recommendations for gay travel. This essay is by Howie Holben. Spirit Journeys offers gay folks gay vacations and gay tours that are really unique.

The Simple Truth Of Prosperity Scriptures
Posted by Zoe Smith | Filed under Self Improvement
Answer honestly: do you sometimes think that God doesn’t care about you having abundance and prosperity here on earth? I mean, He has the whole world to run right? True He watches over everyone on earth but He is God and He makes time to make sure you are healthy and more than well taken cared of. If you still can’t wrap your mind around this truth, walk with me through several prosperity scriptures in the Bible.
God does not leave His people wanting. In fact, many of His chosen men are renowned to have great possessions and supernatural favor. Abraham had so much livestock and men born in his household that the rich land was not enough to supply him and his nephew’s possessions and they had to separate. And have you heard about Sarah and her beauty? At ninety, a king asked to bring her to the palace intending to make her his woman. Were they lacking blessings in any area of their lives? I don’t think so.
What about Joseph? He was a father’s favorite, sold by his jealous brothers to a slave trader. He landed in Egypt where he helped prosper Potiphar before he was thrown to prison by the scorned mistress of the household. Now he’s in prison, again faithfully serving people even as he seemed to be forgotten and rejected by people he trusted and cared about. This almost reads like a hopeless life if not for the twist that he becomes Egypt’s revered prime minister in one day. Is your story? Years strewn with broken promises and darkened memories? God knows all about you and He too will lift up your head.
Hopefully, you’re getting some glimmer back in your eyes. You agree that God wants to bless His people. But you argue, all those stories are centuries ago and written for His people, the Jews. If you think this has nothing to do with you, think again. Study New Testament scriptures and you will realize that the promises given to Abraham somehow made its way to you. That’s right, when God said, ‘I will bless you and make your name great; I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed’ (Genesis 12:2-3)–it now applies to you as well. Believe it so you can walk in its reality.
There are many instances in the Bible that seems to promote the state of poverty. It’s true you can learn from it but God cannot promote poverty because He uses prosperity as a gift to people who follow His ways. 1 Chronicles 22:13 For you will be successful if you carefully obey the decrees and regulations that the LORD gave to Israel through Moses. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or lose heart! Mark 10:29-30 ‘Yes’, Jesus replied, ‘and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property-along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.’
Alongside many of the prosperity scriptures you will find warnings and encouragements to put ones faith in God not in riches because wealth has only a passing value. It is wise advice and complements perfectly with Gods will for your prosperity. Jesus said in John 10:10, ‘The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.’–Let’s make sure we put this promise to good use.
Zoe Smith is living a life of overflowing abundance and prosperity. Understand the truth of Prosperity Scriptures and walk in abundance today.

Want To Make Money While Staying At Home?
Posted by Cody Scholberg | Filed under Finance
Given the recent economic changes, it?s no wonder that an increased number of people are reorienting themselves towards home-based profit solutions. From less difficult tasks such as paid surveys to online data entry jobs or affiliate marketing, they all have something in common and that is the desire to earn money.
The Internet has something to offer to each and every person, helping them make money while staying at home. You?ve already been informed about a few of the opportunities available; however, you should know that a lot of people have made a profit out of their own shop, selling different products. Others have become successful blog writers and found a service that could be sold over the Internet, generating important profits.
The percentage of home-based profit solutions depends directly on the number of Internet websites. It goes without saying that the more websites appear, the more chances for profits are available to those interested. Affiliate marketing has become a solution with guaranteed benefits, and handsome profits can be made by promoting a website and driving the targeted sector of the market towards that actual resource.
If you?re looking to make a profit whilst working from home, then affiliate marketing is the best thing to consider. You can even get paid just for convincing other people to visit the website, thus covering the necessary traffic. Who would have thought that something as simple as affiliate marketing could bring such important profits? Prepare yourself to receive financial rewards every time a person visits the website, registers to become a member or completes a purchase.
You can always decide to start your own business and tap into the resources that network marketing has to offer. Out of all the home-based profit solutions available, it seems that network marketing comes with the most benefits. Money can be obtained from the sales that you make with your products, a network distributor often being chosen to work with to make more money. You might have heard of this before, multi-level marketing being a business that has helped a lot of people become rich.
You can make money while staying at home and getting paid to take surveys seems like the perfect solution for first-timers. The liberty to choose your own working hours is great and you cannot deny that you do not feel attracted by the profit opportunities. On the other hand, you should know that there are a lot of companies searching for virtual customer service agents. The pay is good, so why not give this job opportunity a chance?

I am Motivated Because I am Free
Posted by Shawn Doyle | Filed under Health & Fitness
Some people don’t have freedom. We live in a free society. We have freedom and yet we are always talking about it which is kind of funny.
We are often not free even though we live in and are citizens of a free society.
I know very sad people who are enslaved by their own constant apathy. They are in a marriage where they are miserable but refuse to just get help. They could get help through marriage counseling or even end the marriage. They have freedom of choice but the would rather just complain and complain. They are not free. But they have freedom of choice. It so sad they dont get it.
I know people who hate their jobs, but will not make changes because they fear change or just don’t think that they can do better. They do have a choice and can change their work and career if they choose to. But they make the wrong choice. Sad but true.
I know people who tolerate cruelty and mistreatment by family and so-called friends. They tolerate it for years, because they don’t think that they have the right to demand respectful treatment. They put up with the negative behavior.
I know dozens of people who choose to accept their circumstances because of their past, present, or future, and are stuck in a rut. They dont know they are in a rut but they clearly are.
We all should be greatful that freedom has been given to us as a gift. We must then make the choice to consciously use it now even today. We have to know we have the right and then make the decision to choose to use it.
Our happiness is based on the the ability to be able to choose. People can exert their right to be whatever they can dream. We can choose to reinvent ourselves mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially and socially. We have the freedom to change from a biker to a banker if we choose, and banker to a bouncer if we choose, a bouncer to a ballet dancer if we choose, a ballet dancer to a bowler if we choose. It is really beautiful to have freedom and the ability to choose when we want.

Online Bachelor Degree - Get Top Grades By Working Smarter Not Harder
Posted by John B Maxted | Filed under Business
So you’ve decided to pursue your college degree online. Congratulations, you’ve taken a critical step towards improving your future, and with a little work and commitment, the world can be yours! There are a host of options available for completing your degree, as there are a number of online degree programs offered by both independent, and highly reputable universities, as well as community colleges, and many of them offering online degree programs at reasonable rates.
The only catch is that it’s not easy to complete these courses. In fact, many people have a lot of trouble with it because when studying at home, there are many more distractions, such as children, television, games, and food.
This may make classroom work much more preferable to those who need to be able to concentrate and get their work done. There may be other problems such as your access to a computer or the Internet. The ability to pay the bill is one such problem.
But if this works for you it will be a great opportunity and quite rewarding. The path is in front of you for the taking. The tips listed will be a big help to get you on that path.
Find a Respectable School
The Counsel by Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) should be one of the places you check when you find a program you are interested in pursuing. If they do not recognize this program you should be wary; they may not be what they seem. The BBB also is a good source for getting information on the best online schools. The schools you cannot find contact information for should be considered suspicious as well as the ones that will allow you to buy your diploma. Schools that are based out of the country are hard to check on too. Anything that sounds the least bit shady should be dismissed as a possibility.
Getting Your Records in Order
The typical records will be needed such as your high school diploma and any certificates in other types of schooling. Making transcripts and other types of documents available will ensure you are able to get help if you qualify.
See the School in Person
If the school you are interested has a physical campus, you should go visit it, to make sure it is a reputable institution. If they are online-only, make some phone calls to either the school itself or locate people who have completed the program and ask them how much success they had with the whole thing. From this you should be able to determine if the programs and school are right for you.
Discover Financial Options
Many people who cannot afford to pay tuition can usually get financial aid to help them further their education. The bachelor’s degree you will earn will make a huge difference and the programs to help will allow you to get your life on the right track. Some schools are affiliated with well known banks that can help you to get a loan for school. Depending upon your credit, the interest rate may be a little higher. But the main thing is you will be able to get your degree.
Make Sure You’re Ready
Make sure you’re at a time in your life when going to school is convenient, and you won’t have and issues finishing. Ensure that you are free of most stress, though it’s impossible to rid yourself of all stress. You must also make sure that you are financially ready, and can keep up with the costs of attending a program to obtain an online bachelor’s degree.
Making the Final Decisions and Preparations
Paying tuition fees, getting applications and all the paperwork filled out and a consultation with a financial adviser are all steps that will need to be taken. If you can get everything going to get your bachelor degree, your life will be set up for great earning potential. You will be well on your way on the path to success.
